We represented a major title insurance company in opposing a Petition for Registration in the Land Court of a large area of land on which twenty single family residences had been built. The defense involved research into ancient land records and a reconstruction working with experienced surveyors of the position ancient woodlots. The defense was successful in exposing the deficiency in petitioner’s claims with the result that a satisfactory settlement was obtained.
